"My Dad - Mahendra Shah age 73 yrs had left bilateral knee joint pain over 6 months and had pain while walking and climbing stairs . After consulting Dr Amyn Rajani, he suggested us to go for Left Robotic UKR surgery which was partial knee replacement using Robotic procedure . He well explained us that some of his knee parts are well intact and can be preserved by using this procedure. The surgery was well planned with all pre - tests suggested to us in advance and reports of the same were seen by Dr Amyn before surgery .
Dad got admitted at Breach Candy Hospital on 5 th Feb 2026 evening , 6 th Feb morning was the surgery and 7 th morn was the discharge . On the same day of surgery , he was made to walk comfortably and physiotherapy was started on same evening of the discharge . All the do's and don'ts along with medicine prescription were well explained in a well organised way at the time of discharge . Dr Amyn Rajani 's team of physiotherapy is amazing for speedy recovery and dad was made to climb stairs comfortably from the 4 th day of surgery at home with physiotherapy sessions at home everyday . Dr Amyn Rajani has a amazing team with Dr Vishal & Physiotherapist Dr Arti who have replied promptly and guided us at any time . Our family and friends have been amazed to see dad walk & climb comfortably in such short period of time .
